in pastoral pursuits in your southern district I congratulate myself also on your nomination, and also upon the nomination of the two other old Colonists of reputed respectibility nominated with you.

We have had very stormy (windy) weather for the last few days which I think will culminate in rain.

Mrs. Campbell desires to be kindly remembered to Mrs. & Miss Macarthur, to whom I also beg to offer my best regards as well to Sir Wm. and I remain,
