I send you a copy of the "Economist" in which you will see a letter from Mr. Shaw in which he takes Mr. McKnight very properly to task, for having written that the Camden flock were without the benefit of selection.  McKnight has I fear little skill himself, and his object to write up his sheep is apt to cause a reaction against them.  I have studiously avoided writing any thing on the subject.

I hope to hear that you have a good flock of sheep at Camden.  I am sure that a crop of lambs and the fleece, would pay well
