sorry at the delay, as I have the use of the country without any extra rent.  Should you come across Mr. Faucett, you might incidentally ask him how my case is likely to go.  My lawyers are very hopeful, nay more than hopeful, but it would be well to get both sides of the question, I hope the cause of the case being put off this Term may be that the Solicitor General finds he has a bad case, and that he may allow it to lapse altogether.  Dont go out fo your way to ask about the matter, only if the opportunity offered in the course of conversation I would like to hear their views on the subject.

The weather here is so cold, that we had fires yesterday night & today.
