I find him a most uncomprising opponent to in a case which I have now pending, regarding portions of my runs and which I am under the necessity of bringing before the Supreme Court.  It is in the hands of Johnson & Johnson, Solicitors Pitt Street and likely to come on in Nov. next.  I think I gave offence to Moriarty in writing to the Minister of Lands, I mention this in confidence, in case you may have made the same mistake in going to the Surveyor General.  No doubt there is a great deal of trafficking in runs by speculators here, and I think the Queensland regulations requiring occupation, would be a
