My dear Sir Wm Macarthur,

I had the pleasure of receiving your letter of the 7th Inst. and have since received the maps all of which I return herewith, except the engraved one embracing the country between the Lachlan Murray & Darling Rivers.  The map of the Country to the west of the Darling is the most valuable being the latest, and I am just now having a copy of it traced out.  It would be very desirable if you could get more detailed information regarding the Country to the north of the Murray & between that
