Autumn, and winter months, with a great deal of frost, which caused the feed to be very backward, but we have had a sufficient supply of rain during last month and vegetation is now rapid, and the stock will soon recover their deficient condition.
I need not say how glad I was to know how easily your Brother secured his Election. I was sorry to see that you lost yours' but it is more honorable to be a Loser as you were, than to have gained by such means as your opponnent did.
I beg to offer my best thanks for your kindness in instituting enquiry as to the state of my wretched relation's mind, I had great doubts re it, and I feel I have discharged a duty, in drawing skilful attention to it.
