connected with our gardens.  I am preparing a case for you, the large case which brought the "Platyceria" to go by one these gloriously fast Clippers which you the Colonies have the advantage of now.  I have written to Lincoln to let me have the time of their departures.  Enclosed you will find the list of the things that are to be sent.  There are some few [indecipherable] as [indecipherable] which I know you had in days of yore but which I [indecipherable] that you have not got now.  The Dahlias grow 18 feet high bright
