My dear Friend

By the St. Osyth what will arrive I suspect as soon as this letter you will receive the case of Orchids of which I enclose the B. of Lading & about which Green has taken such special care.  All of these Orchids have been in my cold House drying for some time & seemed to be in exceedingly
