me & I am in all the discomfort of an incipient bad cold.  I got [indecipherable]] of a week or 10 days of such misery, so I have determined to [indecipherable] out to the Mediterranean [indecipherable].  I shall throw off my wretchedness, not throw up soon as I cross the Channel.  I shall return before the middle of December.
