I mentioned, a whole lot of Orchids from the Straits belonging to me, which are to be sent to you.  He has had directions from me too to send you bulbs of the newest gladioli from Natal, lovely, nay superb things which will be most valuable for your hybridising.

I have not yet heard of the arrival of my Tree Ferns Crinums [?] &c.  By the way I heard of a Crinum from [indecipherable] which I must send you, the grandfather of all Crinums.
