I hope that they will all be packed & shipped.  I have two Wardian cases by me and these I intend shall take all that can be safely fastened up in them for after all the Wardians are the best medium for conveying plants of all kinds & if you take my advice you will write to Veitch & ask him to send "the balam" of fine orchids to you in these cases of yours which you say are in his hands.  I think also of putting a number of your orchids in an airtight Barrel fastened to the sides, the middle of the same being filled with saw dust.  I have but little doubt but that by the middle of August Green will have bought laid out all this last supply of money & stopped
