January or Feby., & if I do go out I shall hope to take out some cases for your collection and garden which I quite long to see again.  Tho' I long still more to see many very dear & well remembered old faces in their neighbourhood.

I send you out a few seeds of a  ​​​Cantal Melon, said to be the best in the world.  Mr. Hooker says [indecipherable] the skin not being thicker than that of a Mandarin Orange & the flavour glorious broken by the way, you will see
