that it is quite hopeless to look forward so far as this world is concerned.  I must I feel never dwell in the past.  To try the effect of change I gave up my house in London too full as it was of associations, & came to live here, and now already I long to be away, tho the place is very beautiful, & has many things to recommend it, but there is no [indecipherable] &
