Wales people by a great deal than I have yet done, if some further testimonial of respect to his memory is not immediately set on foot.  Some of his friends here as well as myself have been indulging the hope here a Conservation Ministry came into power of his own & his Family's great services to the Colony meeting with proper recognition in his person, but it was not to be.  I will if I can muster up courage, write to dear Mrs Macarthur by the Panama mail.  I owe my dear [indecipherable] too a letter.  Just now I have no heart to write to either widow indeed I do not think that I can write to either on this sad subject.  What can I say?
