loss & the other disappearance of a London winter.  What with the hard frosts of Paris, which I felt set me up at once, & what with the use of tonics I am quite myself again & if I had but you with me I would be quite ready at a moment notice to set off for a trip in the bush in preference to wasting my renewed energies before London parties.  By the way on the 7th of next month I leave in Company with Peter & Donaldson for Dresden Ram Auctions.  My wife is quite well & would willingly if I could take her accompany me but we shall travel too fast for her.  I should have liked if I could have managed to take the [indecipherable] on our
