To William Inglis
By virtue of the authority given in the Defence Acts 1903-12, and by the Regulations made thereunder, I do hereby constitute and appoint you the said William Inglis to be a Warrant Officer in the Australian Naval & Military Force from the (Date to be inserted)  You are, therefore, carefully and diligently to discharge your duty as such by doing and performing all things thereto belonging as required by the Laws and Regulations relating to the Military Forces of the Commonwealth; and you are to observe and follow such orders and directions as you shall receive from your Commanding or any other your Superior Officer, according to the said Laws and Regulations.
