between MATINATA and TAKAPUR was so thick he could not get touch.  On the morning of the 16th inst., the Governor arrived at HERBERTSHOHE and was received with military honours; at 11.30 a.m. the O.C. the British Troops arrived and interviewed the Governor, after the interview he was escorted safetly through our outposts.
