Admiralty chart.  Southerlies are bad at Ocean Island.  Westerly is bad weather from November to March, and sometimes all the year round.  There are 50 Fijian police at Ocean Island.

NAURU.
Wireless station.  Britishers are in the majority.  The police force is German.  Natives are Polynesians.  There are no guns.  Moorings have been laid down by the Pacific Phosphate Co., used by vessels of 2,000 tons nett.  Reported to be safe for ordinary weather when usual precautions are taken. 2 moorings. 200 fms. off shore in 150 to 200 fms. of water.
