for Blighty at 9 A.M. and arrived at Folkestone at 11.30 A.M. after the the roughest trip I have ever experienced in the channel. The many sick people around us almost made me seasick too.
We reached Victoria Station London at 2.30 p.m.
Having disposed of my valise and unnescessary kit I went out to see my friend in West Kensington to see if they could put me up for the night as I had failed to obtain lodgings in London anywhere.
