and marched to Sivry in Belgium a scattered town of about 2600 inhabitants. We marched via Ramousies, crossed the Grande Helpe River, passed through Liessies and lunched on the left of the road just before we entered Bois de Nostrimont at 1 P.M. sharp we trekked on again and at 1.30 p.m. crossed the belgian border and at once entered the Bois de Tout vert. After resting for a short period from 10 minutes to 2 p.m. until 2 p.m.. Billets for the men and officers both were are not too numerous nor too comfortable as the very few civilians have left this town
