Dear Sir,

With reference to your letter of the 23rd May, further relating to the desire of Lieutenant-Colonel D.G. Marks, D.S.O., M.C. to obtain an appointment under the Defence Department, I am advised by my colleague the Minister for Defence that the name of this officer has been placed on the list of those awaiting employment on transport work.

In the event of his services being required, he will be communicated with through the Commandant, 2nd Military District.
