[Saturday January 15 1916]

Arrived Wardan & one troop marched on 35 miles. Of course it rained just enough to wet us through it always does this when shifting Camp.
South of us is a Petrified Forest evidence of different climatic & physical conditions in the past The only roads in the Desert are Camel Tracks & they represent the shortest distances between Water.
