I note what you say re being "Godmother" to a lonely soldier etc, don't you think you've got your hands full with me- but you were always such a busy little Mother & it is very good of you.
Clive Weston is here a Sergeant, a brother of Mrs Blake's.
Word has just come that 8000 Turks are approaching us so we expect a fight in the morning.
