This A3 classification is a horrible thing, for you are kept fooling about in the camp on fatigues, & silly route marches, supposed to be hardening. While on this classification I went up with O.T.C. forms & he refused (Capt Myers) to sign them till the rib was healed.
Two days afterwards I tore off the strapping & again paraded with the forms. This time he discovered lung trouble (imaginary) at the posterior right base. A sputum test was taken & the glorious old suspense business began in real earnest.
