August 6thAt present I am in the throes of making a groom out of very raw material indeed. One Mohammed Hussain Abu Bakr. to give him his full name, is trying hard to assimilate all I tell him but with no full results. Yesterday he took both horses to water, put the bridle on back to front so that the curb chain was on the horses nose of course the horses bolted, & fell off & nearly killed himself with the chain of the led horse.
