I am beginning to long for home & a quiet life intensely now. It takes the form of a vision of myself, seated in a comfortable chair, knocking out my pipe into a good fire.
Horses can show marvellous intelligence at times. Last year, par example, we were chasing the Turk on the 5th August after his abortive attack on Romani & about 10 am we halted for breakfast.
