no trouble, the Doctor advised me to leave it in, as it had lodged between muscles and sinews and to get it out, they would have to cut them, and it might leave me with a stiff arm.

Wed 11th September
7-15am, Drew my kit and left Harefield at 9-50am. Got my pass, money, etc at Horseferry Rd, then spent the rest of the day in London. Caught the 10-15pm. train from Kings Cross for Edinburgh

Thurs 12th Sept.
Arrived at Edinburgh 8am. and received a great reception from my relations.

Fri 13th Sept
Paid a visit to the Forth Bridge, Art Gallery and Sir Walter Scotts monument.

Went to the pictures at night, and I was glad to get into bed, as I had been flying all over the place during the day.

Sat 14th Sept
Chumed up with a Canadian Officer, while looking over the Castle, and we had a very enjoyable day together.
