Had I known the Glatton would have tarried so much longer than what was first given out, I would have sent you some more descriptions of plants.

PS. I had forgot to tell you of a species of Coccinella being a pest to potatoes.  I have seen a second crop with all the leaves devoured by them, which causes the potatoes to be very small, by entirely checking the growth of the stem.  I have a deal more matters to communicate to you, but  I am afraid I shall not be able to do all this until I return & see you in person.
