Rouken Glen, Glasgow
Caught the 8.45 train for Glasgow & got in about 10.15, we went to the Botanical Garden & after dinner we took the car out to Rouken Glen, it is very nice out at the Glen only it is a bit late in the season. Glasgow is having recruiting meetings for women to join the WAACS.
Miss Fisher left for Kilmarnock by the 8.40 PM & I went to the pictures for an hour & left for the N of Scotland by the 10 PM. Had quite an exciting time at the station before I left, my ticket being overdue & I had to get another costing me an additional £2.0.6d
