Im not at all surprised to hear that he already knows all details concerning sheep raising, pig breeding & killing, orange growing, rabbit hunting & horse riding.  It's funny how all the family have gone up into the country for a month or two & before those couple of months are through we could teach the cockey his own job.  We're a pretty smart crowd alright.  The life up there will turn out to be the finest thing that could have happened to the lad I'm sure.

So the job of wood cutting is now delegated to you, eh?  You'll remember how I used to carve my way through a couple of cwt before my eggs & bacon each morn in the days of yore.  I'm not surprised that the Laughing Johnnies perched on the fence and burst into hilarity over your efforts.
