And if this Part III is rather more miserable than Part II I'm sorry. The one refers to things here & the other refers to things in London so the result is quite natural isn't it? And probably my outlook here is rather prejudiced owing to the comparison with gay & cheery civilization after my 9 months of this stuff. I am sorely afraid that the war has quite unsettled me because when I get back all I will want is plenty of electric lights, plenty of music & theatres & dances & colours & plenty of good dinners - all the things I have been forced to forego over here. I will be quite like a primitive savage when you see me again.
